Praslines Nouvelle-Orleans

Pecan nuts caramelized. Created in 1636 by Clément Jaluzot, officer of Mouth of the Marshal Duc de Praslin, pralines, caramelized almonds, are always manufactured with the original recipe by the french family Mazet. A hundred years later french migrants in Louisiana adapted the recipe with pecans. Today Mazet House revisits this recipe.
