Created in 1636 by Clément Jaluzot, officer of Mouth of the Marshal Duc de Praslin, pralines, caramelized almonds, are always manufactured with the original recipe by the french family Mazet. A hundred years later french migrants in Louisiana adapted the recipe with pecans. Today Mazet House revisits this recipe.
