Baked apples, with Prasline butter

Preparation time: 15 minutes, cooking time: 30 minutes

  • 50g crushed Praslines
  • 6 large apples
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 250g salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of Praslines powder
  • mascarpone or 150g of « crème fraîche »

  • - Core the apples. Grate enough nutmeg to make one teaspoonful. Mix the crushed Praslines, softened butter, nutmeg, ginger and Praslines powder in a bowl until smooth

    - Fill the centre of each apple with the mixture. Carefully place the apples in a fireproof dish and bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 200° C

    - Serve immediately with mascarpone or “crème fraîche”
